The American seismic activity alert system just dispatched a warning that said an M 6.0 earthquake was reported near Taitung, Taiwan. The epicentre is in the middle of the oceanic bay of the southern island of Taitung, and the depth was about 10 km. The earthquake affected Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan and China.
