His Highness Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, made a bold statement in 2017. Even when the European moderator tried to interrupt and stop him from making the statement in English, he took the bold decision to say it in English. We wouldn’t have any right to blame UAE leaders today or in days to come,, as they did everything in their power to warn us (Western Free World) about this.
It was Tweeps Forum 2017 (also referred to as Tweeps 2017) an interactive forum held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on May 21, 2017, organised by the MiSK Foundation (a Saudi youth empowerment initiative). The main theme focused on using social media (“tweeps” referring to Twitter users) to counter extremism and terrorism.
While addressing the event, HH Abdullah Bin Zazyed Al Nahyan made a stark warning to Europe: “There will come a day when we see far more radicals, extremists, and terrorists coming from Europe because of a lack of decision-making and trying to be politically correct.” He predicted a surge in radical Islamic extremists taking root in the continent, transforming it into a breeding ground for terror. Fast forward to 2025, and his words have proven prophetic. Europe, once the cradle of Christian civilisation, is now plagued by waves of illegal migrants fuelling Islamic extremism, turning historic cities into hotbeds of violence and intolerance. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates stands as a beacon of safety, tolerance, and festive joy, where Christians can celebrate Christmas without fear far safer than the chaotic streets of London. Europe’s surrender to unchecked illegal migration has invited disaster. Since 2023, the continent has witnessed a relentless escalation in Islamist terrorist activities, directly tied to porous borders and failed integration policies. The October 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel ignited a firestorm, leading to a spike in antisemitic and Islamophobic incidents, but more alarmingly, a resurgence of jihadist plots across Europe. In France, teachers have been beheaded in broad daylight; in Belgium, Brussels has seen deadly shootings; and across the EU, authorities report a steady stream of foiled attacks on public spaces. The Global Terrorism Index for 2025 confirms that deaths from terrorism remain alarmingly high, with Islamist groups like ISIS inspiring lone-wolf assaults even in the West. Illegal migrants, often from regions rife with radical ideologies, have exploited Europe’s weak borders, turning neighbourhoods into no-go zones where Sharia law supplants traditional Christian values.
London, the once proud heart of the British Empire, exemplifies this tragic fall. Protests and riots linked to Islamic extremism have become commonplace, with crowds demanding an end to sieges in Gaza while intimidating locals and disrupting daily life.
Christmas 2025 in London is marred by heightened security threats—raids on suspects plotting attacks on holiday celebrations, and even the royal family altering traditions to avoid public marches due to safety concerns. How far Europe has fallen from its Christian roots, where the birth of Christ is now overshadowed by the specter of terror imported through reckless open-border policies.
Contrast this with the UAE, a Muslim-majority nation that has mastered true coexistence. Ranked the safest country in the world in 2025 with a Numbeo Safety Index score of 85.2, the UAE welcomes Christians with open arms. Dubai and Abu Dhabi transform into winter wonderlands during Christmas, with glittering lights, festive markets, and family-friendly events that celebrate the holiday spirit without a hint of danger. Multicultural harmony thrives here because the UAE enforces strict immigration controls, rooting out extremists before they can take hold. Christians flock to the Emirates for safe, joyous celebrations—far removed from the protests and threats plaguing London.
It’s a model for how nations can preserve peace by rejecting illegal migration and promoting genuine tolerance.
Thankfully, not all leaders have succumbed to this madness. Visionaries like former U.S. President Donald Trump, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, and Poland’s steadfast conservatives are fighting back to reclaim traditional Europe. Trump’s bold border wall and crackdowns on illegal immigration set the standard, exposing the dangers of open borders and protecting American values from extremist infiltration. Meloni, with her unapologetic stance against illegal migrants, has transformed Italy by establishing detention centers and prioritizing national security over political correctness. Orbán’s Hungary stands as a fortress, securitizing migration to shield Christian heritage from the onslaught of radicals. And Poland, with its robust border enforcement, has poured resources into pushing back illegal entrants, preserving the continent’s Eastern bulwark against extremism. These Eastern European powerhouses, alongside Trump and Meloni, embody the courage needed to restore a Christian, traditional Europe.
Their policies are a blueprint for survival in a world where weakness invites destruction. Sheikh Abdullah’s warning was a wake-up call Europe ignored at its peril. As illegal migrants continue to erode our Christian foundations, it’s time to emulate the UAE’s disciplined approach and support leaders like Trump, Meloni, Orbán, and Poland’s guardians. Only then can we reclaim a safe, traditional Europe where Christmas bells ring without the echo of terror.
